aura

Privacy Policy

Effective July 19, 2026

Aura is designed to work without an account, advertising profile, or analytics tracker. This policy explains the limited information used to provide local UV forecasts, timers, and optional reminders.

Information Aura uses

What Aura does not do

Aura does not require an account, sell personal information, run third-party advertising, or use cross-app tracking. Version 1.0 does not access Apple Health or HealthKit.

Service providers

Aura relies on Open-Meteo for weather and UV forecasts, BigDataCloud and OpenStreetMap for place names, and Supabase for optional browser push delivery. Those providers process requests under their own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you delete the app, clear its site data, or reset the relevant browser storage. Browser push records are retained only as needed to operate requested reminders. You can revoke location or notification access at any time in iOS or browser settings. To request deletion of a browser push record, contact us with the short device code shown in Aura’s Settings.

Children and health information

Aura is a general wellness utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Its timing guidance is an estimate, not a measurement of UV exposure or medical advice.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version and effective date will be posted here.
